Tate St Ives
The town's own world class gallery located in an amazing setting on
Porthmeor Beach. Exhibitions change through the year with a mixture of
St Ives artists and works from the Tate collection.
Whether you enjoy the art is a matter of taste and depends on the current exhibition. In any case it is worth visiting just for the stunning architecture and setting. You can enter the shop, cafe and roof terrace for free.
Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden
Hepworth, who died in 1975, asked in her will that Trewyn Studios and the adjacent garden, with a group of her sculptures placed as she wished, be permanently open to the public.
Visiting the Museum and Garden is a unique experience, which gives remarkable insight into the work and outlook of one of Britain's most important twentieth-century artists.
St Ives School Of Painting
Art courses and workshops including watercolours, life drawing, collage, abstraction, portraits, landscapas and monoprinting.

If you want fantastic quality local meats, cheeses, seafood, fruit and vegetables, snacks and regional specialities, the Cornish Deli is for you.

DJ Cars

Royal Cinema
A three screen picture house in the centre of town which shows all the
main new releases, with both matinees and evening shows. They also host
Penwith Film Society who show less commercial productions.
The front section of the main screen has recently been refurbished with extra-large West End style seats, so get their early to grab these. For kids - look out for their bargain shows which include a free drink and popcorn. Right next door to The Western.
St Ives Theatre
Home to the nationally known youth theatre company Kidz R Us, which stages musical theatre productions. Shows coming up include Jungle Book and Les Miserables.
The theatre also stages other theatre productions and live music.
